Henderson Salsa Challenge

red chili pepperHenderson Salsa Challenge. The challenge will take place Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. All-day live entertainment, salsa tasting, jalapeno eating contest, food vendors and salsa chefs competing for the best salsa.

Proceeds benefit the Lili Claire Foundation, Down Syndrome and Autism; John C. Vanderburg Rainforest Biosphere and the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. Nevada Day Celebration

The International Society, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Clark Company will host the annual Nevada Day celebration. There will be many demonstrations and activities during the day.

There are numerous DUP Camps throughout Clark County studying pioneer heritage and values. Meetings are held during the day and in the evening. For more information, call Lynn Gubler at 456-4631. All who are interested in learning more about their pioneer heritage and the history of Nevada and California are welcome!
