The gospel train’s a-comin’ to the Red Mountain Music Company this season. So get on board, little children—there’s room for many a more.
Don’t miss “Shout Glory!” November 3 and 4 (BCHS Auditorium) and November 10 and 11 (Doc Rando Hall, UNLV). Come rock-a your soul with gospel favorites like “Ain’-a That Good News,” “Amazing Grace,” “His Eye Is on the Sparrow,” “Sunshine in My Soul” and other familiar and contemporary spirituals.
The evening will commence with a 6:30 p.m. pre-show featuring the Red Mountain Youth Choir, conducted by former Broadway conductor and pianist David Skouson. The Red Mountain Choir, conducted by master vocal instructor Jeffrey Skouson, will perform at 7:00 p.m.
Acclaimed American baritone and jazz bass player Ricky “Wally” Taylor will raise the roof with the choir this season. Taylor has been a featured performer with Anchorage Opera, Opera San Jose, Houston Grand Opera, Nevada Opera, the Memphis Symphony, and the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. Other guest artists include world-renowned organist Ethelyn Peterson and multi-talented percussionist Dale Rampton.
