General Conference is upon us again. It’s a wonderful time to listen to Latter-day prophets, recharge spiritual batteries and hear direct counsel on the current situations in your life. It’s also, by the last hour of the afternoon sessions, a bit hard to ward off a nap. After all, hours on end of listening to soothing voices while sitting still does take its toll!

Preparation: Find an object that is broken in your home. This can be a simple as a worn sock, a button missing from a shirt, or more complicated – a broken lamp or bicycle inner tube. Make sure you have materials on hand to repair the item as well. Set aside a picture of the Savior and a picture of an infant. Gather the materials for your activity and treat as well.

High school faculty nominate students who display great discipline, scholarship and leadership aptitude. Students receive a curriculum to help their learning, and then meet with lawmakers, cabinet secretaries, diplomats, lobbyists, journalists and academicians. When the Reber family acquired the Junction, Utah, Courthouse, they had no intention of renting it out. But they soon realized that there was a need for a large, fun family gathering place. The Courthouse is a peaceful setting with room enough for everyone, not a single stoplight and the kids are safe to go exploring. You can even rent quads and ride them on the ATV trails right from the front yard.
