From the humble teachings of Jesus Christ to the life of the apostle Paul, the New Testament Music Collection is a tribute and celebration to the New Testament, the most widely-read books of scripture in the history of mankind.
This collection of stirring and moving music is inspired by the events from the New Testament. One interesting note is that the LDS church’s gospel study focus for 2007 is the New Testament, and the songs from New Testament Mucic Collection tie in directly to lessons that will be taught each week in Gospel Doctrine classes in the LDS church.
The goal of this album is to uplift, inspire, and enhance one’s gospel study expereince of the New Testament. This CD is not only to increase one’s love for the Savior, or to learn from the masterful teachings of the apostle Paul, but to draw closer to Jesus Christ in testimony.
Performers on the album include LDS artists such as Alex Boye, Jenny Phillips, Kenneth Cope, and Hilary Weeks. Also includes new renditions of popular Christian market tunes such as How Deep the Father’s Love For Us and Come to Jesus. Many of the songs were written by various top LDS songwriters such as Tyler Castleton, Brett Raymond, and others. Pruduced by Brad Haslam, Tyler Castleton, & Brett Raymond.
