Excel Entertainment and the theatrical film Return with Honor have extended the deadline of their scholarship essay contest until September 12. The topic is, “How would you change yourself if given 60 days to finish your life?”

The essay contest is open to high school juniors, seniors and all college students planning to attend a college, university or certified trade school starting fall 2007 or fall 2008 semester. The grand prize winner will receive a laptop computer and have their essay posted on the film’s website.

“We have extended the deadline until September 12 due to the high volume of responses we have been getting,” said Randy Davis, General Manager of Excel Entertainment. “We are very excited to see so many students taking advantage of this great opportunity.”

Return with Honor is the story of a returning missionary who has a near death experience and is granted a second chance at life that changes him forever.

Applicants must go to www.ReturnWithHonorMovie.com/scholarship, read the film synopsis, watch the theatrical trailer and read the contest rules. Essays submitted should be no more than 500 words.
