Going out on our own was a leap of faith,” says Mikel Conrad, owner of Mikel’s Fine Art Photography. “But the Lord has blessed us.” The blessings have not been without trials.
The Conrad’s oldest son David died in a car accident a year ago. “It was hard, but you have to decide: what do you really believe? If you believe, then you make a choice to keep on living,” he says with conviction. He continues, “We have tried to keep our priorities straight, and we have been blessed. We have definitely seen the tender mercies of the Lord in our lives.”
Those tender mercies include circumstances that made it possible for Mikel’s studio to move one suite over to double their studio space, providing more photography options to their customers. Mikel can now accommodate large groups, and he has incredible
options to make memorable photographs.
“We offer a green screen, which can be used to create all kinds of options, and we also have a portable virtual background,” he explains. Whether you want executive photos to look like you are in front the the U.S. Capitol, holiday photos that look like they’re at a lodge, or high school photos that look like they’re on a movie poster, he can do it. This is especially popular at dances and parties.
