Lloyd Newell—the well-known voice of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s Music and the Spoken Word—and his wife, Karmel, have spent years collecting inspiring holiday stories, now compiled in A Christmas Treasury for Latter-day Saint Families (Deseret Book, Hardcover, $21.95).
This collection of stories, scriptures, songs, and poems were specifically selected for Latter-day Saint families. Every chapter is headed by a theme, including hope, compassion, service, courage, and love. Each story offers a thoughtful message to help families experience a more Christ-centered holiday.
A Christmas Treasury for Latter-day Saint Families is beautifully illustrated with vintage images from some of the most celebrated children’s book illustrators. A Christmas Treasury for Latter-day Saint Families is available at Deseret Book, deseretbook.com, and wherever LDS books are sold.
