Margie Seastrand has always loved the performing arts and educating children. She combined those two pursuits and began building Hollywood Kids Academy in her garage in the fall of 2006. Hollywood Kids Academy now has two locations, Sunrise Mountain and the new North campus which includes a real 200 person theater, with plans for two more locations! The first semester she had 24 students. The next semester there were 84. Today they are approaching 200—testament to not only Margie’s tenacity and the program itself, but to the universal love many young people have for the performing arts.

One of the most marvelous things about this program is the professional stage. All of the classes, which include musical theater, dance, tumbling and singing, all practice on and end with a performance on the Hollywood Kids professional stage complete with wireless headphones and lights.

All the classes are taught by experienced and professional teachers. The dance program is taught by national and local award winning teachers.
