For the past three years it has been Cumorah Academy’s pleasure to provide the Las Vegas valley with a private Christian faith-based school for grades K-8, as well as a 4 year old Jr. Kindergarten program.
Cumorah Academy is now pleased to announce the addition of grades 9-12 for the 2008-2009 school year. Cumorah Academy is providing a BYU online Course of Study on campus classroom to those students who would prefer to experience high school in a smaller classroom setting, or to those students who would like to move through high school at a faster pace. Students may still attend their home school for additional electives and/or sports; they have mentor teacher available to monitor progress and assist with questions; they have a licensed BYU proctor on campus to administer tests; and they have the opportunity to participate in enrichment field trips and service projects within the community during the school year.
Cumorah Academy’s goal is to help all students achieve academic excellence by providing a wholesome, stimulating, nurturing, and academically challenging environment. This is accomplished through a synergistic relationship between home, school and student.
