When concert pianist Josh Wright returned from his mission two years ago, he never dreamed he would be releasing a major album with Shadow Mountain Records. His love for sacred hymns and classical music lead him to arrange this unique album.
The piano was his life growing up. Wright started his career as a pianist in Sandy, Utah, at the age of five. When he was 15, he began playing the piano for the Snowbird Branch and continued that calling until he left to serve in the South Dakota, Rapids City Mission from 2007 to 2009.
“Piano has continuously helped me to draw closer to the Lord through constant reliance on the Spirit in my performing,” Wright said. “This album takes that spirit to a new level.”
Together with Emmy Award-winning producer Sam Cardon, Wright has created an unforgettable album. The perfect balance of sacred hymns, classical favorites, and combinations of the two make this a first of its kind release.

His self-titled album will release on April 5.
