Started by Shari Ellis in 2001, Desert Saints rapidly gained an enthusiastic following in Southern Nevada. Shari ran the magazine with the team of her daughter Ann and daughters-in-law DaLea and Danielle until she passed away in January 2005.

Following Shari’s death, the reins were passed officially to “the girls.” Ann Hart follows in her mother’s capable footsteps as advertising sales manager; DaLea lends her endless artistic skills to the job of graphic design and magazine layout; and Danielle worked as the editor until March 2012 when Scott and Charlene Martineau took over as co-editors of the magazine.

In keeping with Shari’s vision since the beginning, we provide freelance opportunities for others as well, including many stay-at-home moms, business owners, and other individuals that graciously share their writing talents on a variety of topics.
