Send us your article on one of the topics for an upcoming issue, 700-800 words.

Submission guidelines: All submissions must be sent by email to Editor@DesertSaintsMagazine.com. Attach documents to the email in a word processing program. Note in the subject line which month the submission is for. Please include your name, address, ward and stake.

Feb: Bridal Issue (articles due by January 5, 2012)
Ideas – Courtship after marriage, budgeting as newlyweds, setting goals as a couple, preparing for the temple.

March: Family (articles due by February 5, 2012)
Ideas- Reunion ideas, recording your own family history, creating traditions, strengthening relationships.

April: Pioneer (articles due by March 5, 2012)
Ideas- Pioneer Trek Experiences, Family History, Pioneer Heritage.

May: Relief Society / Mother’s Day (articles due by April 5, 2012)
Ideas- Visiting teaching touches hearts, sisters doing great things, humanitarian projects, memories of mom.

June: Priesthood / Father’s Day (articles due by May 5, 2012)
Ideas- Blessings of the priesthood, father’s example, magnify your calling, memories of dad.

July: Summer Family Vacations (articles due by June 5, 2012)
Ideas- Summer activities, family trips, memories of family vacations, making memories with family.

August: Education (articles due by July 5, 2012)
Ideas- You are never too old to learn, tips for scholarships, studying, seminary.

September: Youth (articles due by August 5, 2012)
Ideas- For the strength of youth, EFY, blessings of good friends, young adults/teens doing great things.

October: Temple (articles due by September 5, 2012)
Ideas- Genealogy, blessings of the temple, serving our ancestors, the youth and the temple, making it a priority.

November: Primary (articles due by October 5, 2012)
Ideas- Choose the Right, teacher tips, what I learned in Primary, kids say the craziest things.

December: Christmas (articles due by November 5, 2012)
Ideas- make the Spirit of Christmas last all year, putting Christ into Christmas, memories of Christmas past.
