A professional scientific researcher, with access to several world class research libraries and scientific search engines, Rod began a three-year process of in-depth research into scientific journals, historical accounts and the scriptures. His research led to some rather unexpected DNA findings and then to questioning the origin of the theories surrounding the geographical setting of the Book of Mormon.

Margie Seastrand has always loved the performing arts and educating children. She combined those two pursuits and began building Hollywood Kids Academy in her garage in the fall of 2006. Hollywood Kids Academy now has two locations, Sunrise Mountain and the new North campus which includes a real 200 person theater, with plans for two more locations! The first semester she had 24 students. The next semester there were 84. Today they are approaching 200—testament to not only Margie’s tenacity and the program itself, but to the universal love many young people have for the performing arts.
