This issue of Desert Saints Magazine focuses on families and family history. This topic is such an exciting one: it brings the spirit of Elijah into our hearts like nothing else can. The Savior taught that the only way to inherit the Celestial Kingdom is to become as a child. His words were, “whoso repenteth and cometh unto me as a little child, him will I receive, for of such is the kingdom of God” (3 Nephi 9:22). We are born into this world as our truest spiritual selves – untainted by worldly influences that pull us away from who we must be.
